Description

As access to gambling expands, many communities remain unaware of the potential harms, the populations disproportionately affected, and the value of an equity-grounded public health approach. This introductory training explores core problem gambling concepts and terminology, key risk and protective factors, populations at elevated risk, and connections to related health issues. Participants will be able to explain (or describe) how a public health framework can help protect and improve community well-being.

This Introductory training is in our Health Equity track of our Health Equity Academy. It also is approved to provide CPS, CAC, CADC, CADC II, and CHW CEU’s.
