Are you a sports fan? Did you know that in the U.S., sports betting is legal, and revenue amounted to 4.33 billion dollars? (statista.com) Around 1 in 5 U.S. adults reported they have personally bet money on sports in some way during the last 12 months (Pew Research Center, 9/14/2022). Sports betting is perceived as harmless but there are profiles of who are at risks (Seal et al., 2022). Attend this session and learn prevention strategies to help persons be part of a winning team without suffering losses.
